The integration of Spain within the European Union, as a full member, on January 1st, 1993, meant a drastic adaptation, within the Spanish customs sector, that caused a technological and professional change that few companies could carry out.

This new situation brought together a group of people with their extensive experience of more than fifteen years who founded in Bilbao, the present company, Biladu, S.A.
From the very first moment, we knew that in order to make progress in this new and exciting project we had to listen to and involve ourselves in our customers' problems. We had to transmit the idea that our work did not finish with the provision of service but that we would go further on, that we were willing to give something more that companies need: Added trust, advice and professionalism.

We wanted our customers to know that Biladu, S.A. staff was at their disposal for any issue related to fiscal, Customs or other kinds of inspection, where Bilbadu could be useful. In short, it would mean to make sense of the sentence "service company".

We think we are on the right road. That self-confidence allows us to continue focusing on this more humane policy, opening new offices, signing subsidiary agreements with international commercial partners with one unique aim: to cover all global and integral services for our customers.

Biladau S.A. staff is our greatest asset. Nevertheless, in a world of constant evolution, the information technologies, as well as the quality of service, are considered priority issues for our company.

Achieving the ISO-9001 Certificate was an important step in our concept of company. It allowed us to realize, to analyze and to solve those topics, which would improve our service and quality to our customers.

Finally, we have an overall vision of all aspects related to foreign trade since all sections (forwarding, Customs and commercial) composed by the sea, air and land freight departments are integrated into our facility.

We know there is a road to be taken, but we know it is shorter every time.
